I’m in the backseat right now driving to St. Louis for Lucy’s 4th cycle of chemo. She’s content and looking around. She’s such a happy little girl. She has no idea what’s about to happen. That’s the beauty of her age, however I can’t help to feel guilty.
I can’t prepare her for this. I can’t warn her. I can’t protect her and I can’t fight cancer for her. So I will let her enjoy this time of bliss.
